Strail Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Strail collects information you provide directly, including business name, contact details, client information, session data, and payment records. This data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to operate the Strail app: managing sessions, tracking fee payments, generating reminders, and organizing trainer payouts. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage

Your studio data is stored locally on your device by default. If you sign in with Apple, Strail can also save a private backup to your iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit so you can restore your workspace on your devices.

4. Contacts

If you choose to import a contact, Strail reads only the selected name and phone number to create a client or trainer profile. Imported contact data is not included in Strail's private iCloud backup unless you explicitly allow iCloud backup in the app.

5. WhatsApp Integration

When you send reminders through WhatsApp, the message is passed to the WhatsApp app or web flow on your device. Strail does not send your clients' phone numbers to a Strail-operated server for messaging.

6. Sign in with Apple

Strail can use Sign in with Apple for authentication. We receive only the information Apple provides, such as name and email address. We do not store passwords.

7. Children's Privacy

Strail is designed for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
