Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Saloni Khobragade ("we", "us") for your use of the Simplit iOS app and any related services (together, "Simplit").

By installing or using Simplit, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Simplit.

Your account & your data

Simplit does not require you to create an account with us. Your data lives on your device and, optionally, in your private iCloud. You are responsible for safeguarding access to your device and your Apple ID.

License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Simplit on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app, except as permitted by law.

Purchases & subscriptions

Premium features may be offered as one-time purchases or auto-renewing subscriptions. All purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account. Pricing, taxes, and renewal terms are shown to you in the App Store before you buy.

Assistant features

If Simplit includes assistant features that send your prompts to a hosted service, you are responsible for the content of those prompts. Responses are generated by automated systems and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on them as financial, legal, medical, or other professional advice.

Intellectual property

Simplit, including its design, code, and content we provide, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. The data you enter remains yours.

Disclaimer

Simplit is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Simplit is a personal finance tracking aid. It is not a financial institution, accounting service, or tax advisor.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Simplit. Our total liability for any claim relating to Simplit will not exceed the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim arose, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

Termination

You may stop using Simplit at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access to optional services (such as assistant features) if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll change the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of India.
